Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is the on-demand availability of computer system resources, especially data storage(cloud storage) & computing power without direct active management by the user. In simple words, we can say that Cloud Computing is storing data over the network database servers.

There are  three   main service models of cloud computing

1. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)-- Infrastructure-as-a-Service, commonly referred to as simply “IaaS,” is a form of cloud computing that delivers fundamental computer, network, and storage resources to consumers on-demand, over the internet.

2. Platform as a Service (PaaS)-- Platform as a service (PaaS) is a cloud computing model where a third-party provider delivers hardware and software tools to users over the internet.

3. Software as a Service (SaaS)--Software as a service (or SaaS) is a way of delivering applications over the Internet—as a service.

Advantage of Cloud Computing-
  • 1. Security of data
  • 2. Back-Up of data
  • 3. Virus & Malware Protection
  • 4. Hackers & Intruder Protection
  • 5. Data portability

Disadvantage of Cloud Computing-
  • 1. Network Connection require
  • 2. Hardware Require
  • 3. Loss of Control
  • 4. Technical Issues
